Sunset Hill wishes for our guests to enjoy their stay with us, so we kindly ask all our guests to agree to our guest terms and conditions to ensure Health Happiness & Enjoyment. Please take a few minutes to read our policies below:
General Rules, Requests & Information
Check-in time: 2.00pm until 9.00pm (later check-in times are available by appointment).
Check-out time: 11:30am (late check-outs until 6.00pm can be made by appointment at a rate of 1,000THB).
Night-Stay Visitors: All additional guests to rooms are to be notified to the resort and are required to provide a copy of their Passport / ID for security purposes. If the Night-Stay Visitor exceeds the maximum number of guests applicable to that room we will charge an additional 500THB to that room.
Noise curfew: from 10.00pm until 08.00am we ask all our guests to consider others and keep noise levels to a minimum.
Contact the staff and management in the Sunset Hill Lounge for all (special) requests.
PLEASE switch off the air-conditioning and electrical equipment when leaving the room for a longer period.
PLEASE do not waste water; we pump up our water from the natural spring below Sunset Hill and this is a scarce resource.
Swimming is done at the guests own risk and guests are responsible for their own safety.
Do not dive in the swimming-pool as the pool is too shallow for this
Please do not use the (white) room towels at the pool; pool towels are provided at the pool bar.
Please do not take any resort towels outside the resort for use at the beach or other locations.
Please do not wear dirty shoes or high heels within the rooms. Massage services are available at applicable rates (by appointment only).
Our Sunset Hill Lounge is open from 8 am till 10 pm and offers a variety of Thai and Western food.
Room service is available till 9 pm and additionally some of our rooms provide a kitchenette for self-catering.
Wi-Fi is provided Free of Charge and is available in all rooms and throughout the resort.
There is an additional 3.5% charge for all extra charges (food, transfers, travel, tours, laundry, etc) if paid by credit card. No additional fee for room charges.
Strictly Prohibited Activities that may incur additional charges
Please do not throw toilet paper or sanitary towels into the toilet Our waste-cisterns are not designed to manage this form of waste and can turn paper solid, which will block the resort’s entire drainage-system. The effect of this is not very pleasant and is expensive to repair.
Please do not smoke inside the apartments Many of our rooms are privately owned and the proprietors strictly prohibit smoking within them. As such any rooms found to have smoke stains must be cleaned and restored with immediate effect and we will transfer the cost of 10,000THB to the offending room.
Please don’t throw anything from the terraces Such activity is both anti-social and dangerous and may be considered criminal; any property that is damaged in doing such will be replaced or repaired and the cost transferred to the offending room.
Please take care of your room and the amenities within. Any property that is damaged will be replaced or repaired and the cost transferred to the offending guest. If you do break something please report it to the Lounge staff; if you do so we will be grateful and less inclined to ask you to pay any resultant costs. Please be extra careful with body paint used at moon parties since stains of this paint can’t be removed from cloths, towels and bed sheets.
Violence or criminal activities will be reported to the police.
Additional Guest Information & Requirements
House Keeping provides daily room cleaning & will change your bed sheets every 4 days.
Guests can charge food and beverages to their rooms, 10% service charge is applied; long stay guests will be provided with a weekly balance of room charges to be settled at the end of each week.
